For a private client, Morten Bülow Architects has designed the holiday home Balka. It contains two rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and a loft. The rooms are assembled at one end of the house to allow a larger living space as a central get-together place.
The exterior is build of black profile boards, roofing as well, gutters and zinc covering. In addition, there is a durable terrace of heat treated wood. Interior is created in a bright wood, where the kitchen, countertops and cabinets are made of lacquered birch plywood with specially crafted handles in light leather.
